Haaland fires City to the summit

Erling Haaland needed 54 minutes to put three past a stretched defence, and Manchester City needed little else.

The visitors arrived with a plan to sit deep and wait. City’s first two goals came from the same pattern: a switch of play, a cut-back, and Haaland arriving unmarked at the far post.
